From 2012 to 2019, I worked as a graphic design and web design consultant for Golden Palace, a Belgian gaming hall operator looking to develop its online presence following the opening of the market to licensed operators in Belgium.
Over those 7 years, I produced a large volume of deliverables across various contexts (print, above and below the line advertising, social media, newsletters, website visuals, etc.), redirected the art direction and rebranded the brand, oversaw and produced certain campaigns, interpreted and implemented briefs from the marketing team, and managed an on-site creative team.
The client
Golden Palace is one of the leading gaming hall operators in Belgium, founded in 1963, and the first licensed operator to obtain an operating licence in Belgium for its online casino site.
The objective
Brought on board at the very start of Golden Palace’s web venture, the goal was to help grow their online presence and brand awareness in the gaming sector alongside them, while complying with Belgium’s particularly strict standards and legislation regarding games of chance.
